KHPhysiotherapy is owned and run by me, Kerstine.
I qualified as a physiotherapist from Nottingham University in 2014 after returning as a ‘super’ mature student. Prior to this I served 10 years as a fire-fighter, leaving to work in the NHS so I could build experience towards starting my degree. After several roles within various companies and the NHS I knew I wanted my patients to have a much more personalized, hands on experience so I set up KHPhysiotherapy here in James Street in Kimberley.
In August 2022, I welcomed a new member to the KHPhysiotherapy team.
Andy is a 22 year old Sport Rehabilitator. He’s originally from Surrey but now settled in Nottingham.
“My sporting background dates further back than solely my studies, having played football to a high level throughout my youth. Any spare time tends to be taken up playing football, on the golf course or watching live sport at home.”
“As a sport Rehabilitator I specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injury and I am comfortable working with athletes and members of the general public. I am passionate about the world of injury rehabilitation and like to think that this passion is matched by a wide knowledge of the subject as well as a personality capable of building a rapport with patients which should make the rehabilitation process as enjoyable as possible for us both!”
Andy works from KHPhysiotherapy every Monday and his experience working with the Forest Academy players means he has been a great addition to provide help and support for young athletes who may be struggling with injuries. He is also on hand to give treatment and advice for a whole host of other Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
