Runners Strength & Conditioning

Building from the last successful 2 blocks of 10 week conditioning classes for runners, the next block will have a slightly different format.  It will start on Tuesday 23rd, each week will consist of :

Tuesday 6.30pm – a strength session specifically for runners. Using a weight to build strength

Thursday at 5.30 pm – a conditioning session for runners.  Using a resistance band or body weight to build balance, core control and movement patterns

Saturday at 5.30 pm – a physio info session. Covering, knee pain, shin splints, when to run through pain, hip pain, hamstring strains and key points for good running form

There will also be 6 sessions of speed intervals for you to try each week to help improve your pace.

The 6 week course is suitable for runners of all abilities

    Hi Kerstine
    Definitely interested in these sessions. Do I have to commit to any particular day or can I swop between them?

      Hi Claire, the sessions are live on a Tuesday and a Thursday but will be available to you to do in your own time. Will be nice to have you onboard
